Welcome

Inner conflicts between power & subordination – winning, losing – technical insight, intuitive insight – assertiveness, humility – passion, independence – a spiritual outlook, a materialistic viewpoint – giving, taking… Does this sound just a little familiar? No need for concern! Other people are also experiencing these conflicts every day. Yes, even lawyers.

If you’re a company lawyer, do you sometimes ask yourself: ´How can I perform to full potential when I’m facing severe budget cuts? How do I ensure that my client retains confidence in the justice systemDo you need to be a lone counsel with super(wo)man powers? Do new company structures upset your vision? And how do you continue to develop and grow within your company?

The legal cards have been reshuffled. Large law firms reorganize, smaller ones grow and offer new resources, inviting the question: ´How do we integrate these optimally?´ Today, company lawyers expect outside counsel to bring solutions to the table, not simply risk analyses. You also have an in-depth knowledge of the company, meaning involvement and loyalty… Do you wish to continue being its lawyer? Or do you want to develop your role in other areas?

As a judge, are you waiting for those reforms that will change the system for the better? Or while you wait would you prefer to become involved in change? Are there questions at the back of your mind: ´Am I working to my full potential? How can I humanly separate my role as a judge from all my other roles? How do I deal with the political pitfalls?´ Is it possible to consult in what can be a lonely job? Would you prefer to move constructively from polarization to a more balanced way of living?

I can help with the answers. For 12 years I have practiced as both outside counsel and company lawyer, during which I undertook coaching and courses in leadership & personal skills, enhancing my purely legal knowledge. I transformed this education into practical experience, which I then connected to my own talent of helping people grow. This combination of education, practical experience and talent led to new solutions. And it is those that make the difference!

I would like to share these experiences with the legal world through counseling (consultancy), coaching & training. I am qualified in professional coaching and have chosen this path for a reason. Teaching people how to take the lead in their personal lives gives satisfaction. Seeing people stand where they never expected to go provides much more than that. Developing openness & empathy, personal responsibility & decisiveness within your own professional context: That is what I offer.
